This Privacy Policy describes how ProGames2015 / OKGAME collects, uses, and handles your information when you use LearnUp. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this document.
Collected Data
We collect only the data necessary for the application to function. Below is a breakdown of what is collected, how, and why.
Microphone Access
The app requests access to your device's microphone exclusively for the Dictation and Shadowing features. Audio is processed in real time to provide speech recognition feedback and is not stored or transmitted beyond what is described below.
Speech Recognition Data
When you use voice-based features, your speech is transcribed via on-device or cloud-based speech-to-text (STT) processing. This may include transmission of audio data to Google's Speech Recognition services. Refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data.
In-App Progress Data
The following progress metrics are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers:
- Daily streak count
- Experience points (XP)
- Current level and achievements
Vocabulary Records
Words and vocabulary entries you save are stored exclusively in local storage on your device using Hive database. This data remains under your full control and does not leave your device.
Advertising — Google AdMob
Our app displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. To serve relevant ads, AdMob may collect the following information:
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
- Device information and app usage data
- General location data (country / region level)
All advertising practices are subject to Google's Advertising Policies. We do not have direct access to or control over the data AdMob collects independently.
Managing Your Ad Preferences
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
- Alternatively, you can reset your Advertising ID from the same menu.
In-App Purchases
The app offers premium features available via subscription or one-time purchase. All transactions are processed entirely through Google Play Billing.
We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information. All billing data (credit card numbers, bank details, etc.) is handled exclusively by Google Play and is governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.
Purchase receipts and subscription status may be verified locally via the Google Play Billing Library to unlock premium content within the app.
Remote Data — Supabase
We use Supabase as a backend service to deliver content to the app. Content fetched from Supabase includes:
- Sentence and phrase libraries
- Vocabulary datasets
- Stories and reading materials
These are read-only content requests. No personal user data is sent to or stored in Supabase at this time. Your progress, preferences, and vocabulary records remain entirely on your device.
Third-Party Services
The app integrates with the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
Advertising & Billing

Content APIs (Anonymous Requests)
The following services are accessed via anonymous API calls to fetch language learning content. No user-identifying information is sent to these services:
- Tatoeba — Crowd-sourced sentence corpus (Terms ↗)
- dictionaryapi.dev — Free dictionary API
- BBC Learning English — Audio and reading content
- VOA Learning English — News and learning materials
Children's Privacy
This application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately using the details in Section 10. We will take prompt steps to delete such information.
This policy is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable regional regulations.
Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Here is how your data is protected:
- All user-generated data (progress, vocabulary) is stored locally on your device using the Hive database library with no remote synchronization.
- Internet connectivity is used exclusively for two purposes: fetching app content from our servers and displaying advertisements.
- We do not operate user accounts, so there are no passwords or authentication credentials to compromise.
- Content requests to Supabase use encrypted HTTPS connections.
While we implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your device's operating system and security patches up to date.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
